The CRN is a NOAA-funded project to deploy a network of stations
nationwide specifically designed to measure climate, not just weather.
High quality data is extremely important so that comparisons can be
made to past data.  The CRN will enable the U.S. to better detect
climate change and put current and future climate anomalies into a
historical perspective.
